Storing transfers in a hot climate

  • Keep sheets flat, in their packaging, in an air-conditioned room.
  • Do not leave a parcel in a parked vehicle or in direct sun.
  • Let sheets reach room temperature before pressing.

Performance wear and polyester

DTF works on polyester, blends and nylon as well as cotton, which suits team jerseys, golf polos and gym wear. Press at 302°F (150°C) with firm pressure for 8 seconds, then peel hot or cold. Pressed correctly, the print stretches with the fabric and lasts 90+ washes.

DTF or screen printing for a small run?

DTF has no screens and no setup fee, so twelve shirts with a six-color design cost the same per print as a one-color logo. Screen printing only becomes cheaper for long runs of a single design.
